威尼斯在死去，他们的爱不会死去。整部影片一直在说话和走动，走过旧居走过约会的饭馆，走过威尼斯的每座桥和每条街。对话亦伴随着脚步移动不停发生变化，时而歇斯底里，时而浓情蜜意，时而平淡无味，时而充满哲学。你可以看到他们全部的故事和渴望，看到生死之间沉重的爱，看到命运从不玩弄人有的只是人在各种选择。结尾的乐团，激昂的音乐，述说着尽管死去，但回忆与爱一直在。
