故事本身是黑帮电影常见的冤冤相报何时了，几处呼应做的不错，让观众自己联想和理解，既讲清楚了故事又提升了观众体验
虽然不是真人真事改编，但也反映了90年代科西嘉岛上的民族主义武装和政治暴力，想不到南法当时这么多斗争枪杀。 更吃惊的一点是电影中电视播放的新闻，家庭年收入100,000法郎以下属于要被政府补贴的低收入家庭。这个吃惊不亚于我们的法国人外教知道我们80年代年收入只有几百块的时候。
