The 2020 war between Armenia and Azerbaijan ended with a ceasefire agreement, as a result of which Armenia had to hand over both Lachin Corridor and other territories to Azerbaijan. Around 170 villagers including Narine and her six kids were given a few days to leave their homes at Aghavno village. The process of the evacuation was painful both for adults and children.
