DV seminar / FBI data: one out of two women will suffer from domestic violence in their lifetime

What courts need to admit is that the “imminent danger” requirement for self defense does not apply in domestic abuse cases. It’s rather ridiculous to think that the lack of “imminent danger” really gives these women a chance run away from abusive marriages. These women were facing danger every second throughout marriage. Imminence doesn’t matter.
