The winner will receive NZ$50,000 and one-on-one mentoring with Pero.Season 1's advisors are Cassie Roma and Justin Tomlinson. The series initially aired in 2010 under the title The Apprentice New Zealand.

This version was similar to British style. The two advisors were very impressive, actually I quite like them more than those candidates. Steve, who were in the final two, wish to create a new coffee brand by only just 50,000 dollars. How is it possible? Every adult knows that a successful consuming brand need millions and millions investment to be well known, it's common sense, why he didn't know that especially he had a science degree. He should have had logical sense. It's weird.
本来只是随便看看，本来是看演员阵容才点开学徒 新西兰版 The Apprentice Aotearoa ，结果故事本身也不算拉胯，没什么特别硬伤。
从观感上讲，学徒 新西兰版 The Apprentice Aotearoa越往后越好看一点，不是那种开头强后面散的感觉，至少不是那种一眼劝退的类型。
